First look of iPhone SE

Apple finally launched the iPhone SE with 4-inch screen on Monday. The iPhone SE is like a five-year-old iPhone 5S, but its specifications are similar to the iPhone's current flagship smartphone, the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus.

This Apple launch event was held at the Apple Campus in Cupertino and was a smaller event than Apple's previous launch event. Gadget 360 brought you live updates from the Apple event. In this event, we got a chance to spend some time with the new iPhone SE and the new iPad Pro. Here's how you experienced the new iPhone device during this time.

If you like to use a big phone like iPhone 6S Plus then you will find iPhone SE really a bit lighter. When we first took the iPhone SE, we were surprised to find it so light. It seemed that we had taken a phone with no battery. The iPhone SE, weighing just 113 grams, feels very light when taken in hand. With this we realize that we have become accustomed to using big, heavy phones. But the design of the iPhone SE can be said to be new and unique.

The iPhone SE makes you feel like a premium device just like any Apple device. But this is not at all like the iPhone 5C last time Apple tried to make an affordable phone. Nothing in the iPhone SE is made of plastic. The iPhone SE gives you a pleasant feeling when taken in hand. However, now the metal finish and good design is not as difficult in budget and mid range smartphones as it used to be a year or two ago. So it would be a surprise to say that the iPhone SE is far ahead in terms of design and body.

Talk about the physical dimension of the phone, so the iPhone SE can give you an impression of the iPhone 5S, but talk about the screen-to-body ratio, Apple's problem is still continuing. All Android manufacturers offer large screens in their phones with many iPhone model sizes, but this time the iPhone also has a physical home button with Touch ID sensor. We also said this in our review of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Now it remains to be seen whether this problem can be solved in the upcoming iPhone model.

Due to the small screen in the iPhone SE we felt that most of the screen would surround the keyboard at the time of typing and there would be very little space left for the actual content, but as you can see in the picture to see this with the new small screen iPhone SE. did not get.

As usual, Apple did not reveal the battery capacity of the iPhone SE. But the iPhone SE claims to have at least 13 hours of battery life when running Internet over LTE compared to the iPhone 6 (10 hours) and iPhone 6 Plus (12 hours).

Apple says that the iPhone SE is designed to be used with one hand. Apple's claim is true and we had no problem using the iPhone SE with one hand. Now it remains to be seen how many users leave smartphones with large screens and large batteries for a compact device. Customers in Asia markets especially support the big-screen pocket size 'phablet' and now it would be fun to see how many users are able to attract the iPhone SE which is more pocket friendly in many ways.

The price of the iPhone SE will start from Rs 39,000 in the Indian market and it will start getting in India from early April. Earlier, the company had stated the price of iPhone SE at Rs 30,000, but how many people like the phone with the new price tag will be known in the coming time.

It may be noted that our correspondent who has attended the iPhone SE launch event has been billed by Apple to live in Cupertino.
